You mean to tell us that another year has come and gone already. We can't believe it…Where has it gone? Let's see if we can reflect.Jamie has been at the same job with Stone interactive group for the last year and a half. He enjoys what he is doing. He mainly project manages client website projects from the kick-off phase to launch. He does a lot of the labor as well as the project management (documentation, building the site and some design) on his own. He was called recently to serve in the elder's quorum presidency in his local church congregation which has kept him fairly busy with church responsibilities. With that and work, he still finds time to spend with the family. Funny enough, the same day he received the calling for elders quorum, he also shaved his head and has been doing it since (it is to hide the fact of getting old). Kaylene started the year out right… Let's get this baby out. She went into labor on January 3rd without any help this time (no inducers). The labor was fairly quick (and for Jamie fairly painless). Kaylene has had the opportunity be a stay at home mom and has enjoyed it and does a great job with the boys. She has plans to go to cosmetology school in the next year and get licensed so she can work in the future. She enjoys throwing parties for others and had the opportunity to do that several times this year. She has a great knack for catering and would love to pursue that more (even though it stresses Jamie out at times). At the start of the year, Jamie and Kaylene were team teaching the 10-11 year old Sunday school class at church. Kaylene is now teaching on her own and enjoys teaching these kids. She will miss them and they will miss her when they move on next year. Owen is turning 3 on December 23. I know, we can't believe it either. He's 3…WOW! He has gone through his ups and downs through the year (you know how 2 year olds can be). Overall he is a great kid. He is learning so fast, and turning into a computer geek just like his dad! He still loves to sing and will just break out in a song whenever he feels it. Our favorite is when we are really upset with him (and he knows when we are) and he starts signing "I am a child of God". He really emphasis the part in the song "With parents kind and dear". Oh yea, he knows how to get us. As mentioned, Tyce was born on January 3. That is three birthdays (not including Christmas) right in a row. No, we didn't plan that one very well. Tyce has brought a whole new level to being parents to us. He is full of energy and determination. He started getting around (by rolling everywhere) by 4 months. He is now walking everywhere (and has been since 10 months) and getting into everything. Tyce and Owen get along great which is nice to see. He is always full of smiles when we need it. We were able to take a short trip to Utah to see Jamie's family in May. It was really nice to get together with that growing family. I think there were a total of around 36 there (that is only the immediate family and their kids). While there, we got to go down to St. George (southern Utah) and spend some time in Grandma and Grandpa's swimming pool. Owen absolutely loved that. He keeps asking to go back to St. George and go swimming. We also had the opportunity to take a long weekend to see our friends that recently moved down to Tennessee. Even though it was a quick trip, we were grateful to see them again and to spend some time with them and their family. We are so grateful for friends and family like you. We love you all very much and hope your year was as joyful as ours. We hope that you have a wonderful Holiday Season filled with joy and happiness. We love you!
